A Quick Thought About Moments of Clarity
Sometimes a path becomes clear and nothing matters other than pursuing it. Urgently. Intentionally. Immediately.
“I learned that we can do anything, but we can't do everything... at least not at the same time. So think of your priorities not in terms of what activities you do, but when you do them. Timing is everything.”
—Dan Millman
Brutal truth — this is a hastily prepared post to fulfill my commitment to post every weekday. It was sidelined earlier today by a moment of clarity. It arrived unannounced. Its timing was horrible. But it demanded my immediate focus and attention, lest its value slip away.

As always, I trust someone needs this message today, thus the quick post. Perhaps that someone is me — they guy who needed to be reminded to capture the moment of clarity completely instead of making a note with the intention of processing it later.
Today’s Action Advice
I have two competing ideas for you today. The first is to consider your priorities and ask what you are doing that you shouldn’t be doing today. We all put things on our action lists we might not really need to do. They get there because we enjoy doing them or we think we need to do them or because we are trying to please someone else and rearranging our priorities to do that.
The second is to trust your gut when you sense clarity arriving. It comes at strange and unexpected times. And it is often fleeting. The next time it knocks, I encourage you to do whatever you need in order to capture and process it. It may not knock again.
