A quick refresher. Last Friday the post on quotes was shared more than any other post to date. So I decided to start sharing a quote-focused post every Friday for a while — a test of whether it was a coincidence or a signal my readers enjoy quotes as much as I do.

Here is the simple vision and you are invited to contribute …

Each Friday for the next few weeks (perhaps longer) the post will focus on a quote theme of some sort. The theme will be selected based on quotes shared with me by readers who hit reply to the post email and share a favorite quote with me. I’ll select the one that resonates most with me when I’m writing the next Friday’s post and use it to define the general theme.

I’d love it if you’d engage and share your favorite (or favorites) with me, along with your affiliation to I can give you credit.

By the way, my BIG VISION for this is to ultimately publish a weekly set of quotes that serve all of us as we strive to become what we are capable of becoming and unleash our potential to change the world!

This week’s theme is GREATNESS.

According to Merriam-Webster.com, greatness is defined as the quality or state of being great (as in size, skill, achievement, or power).

It is my belief we all have greatness within waiting to be unleashed. Once we (and others) begin to see a glimmer of our greatness it fuels us. We become driven to be better every day, to push our limits, and to move closer to our genuine potential.

The journey is not easy and it requires sustained commitment, but it is worth it. Not because of how others see us, but because of how we begin to see ourselves. New expectations emerge, driving us to go further than we previously dreamed we could.

It reminds me to dream. It reinforces my belief in the human spirit. It urges me to search the greatness within.
